Module 4

One-day theoretical and practical course, dedicated to the intermediate ultrasound study of the lower limb: hip, knee, foot and ankle.

Each anatomical region will be systematically studied and treated as follows:

• Where to find the pathology
• Pathology findings
  • MRI and articular pathology
  • U/S and articular pathology
• Sono-anatomy
• Standardized U/S examination: tutorial
• Standardized U/S examination: U/S lab, practical session

Aims: To analyse MRI and U/S pathologies of the lower limb with epidemiological relevance, allowing the practitioner to gain competence in visualizing via U/S the most common sites of traumatic and degenerative pathologies.

Participants: Physicians, with a basic knowledge of U/S techniques, who wish to use U/S investigation techniques to study the main orthopaedic pathologies of the lower limb with a focus on joint imaging.
