A multi-disciplinary approach to musculoskeletal pathologies, with special emphasis on articulation and involving input from various medical specialties, represents a major opportunity to create modern, integrated and effective diagnostic and therapeutic courses.

The use of ultrasound techniques in the evaluation of musculoskeletal disorders can allow for the real-time verification of hypothesised diagnoses, taking less time than Level II methods (such as CT or MRI), with the potential for immediate identification of the pain generators, optimization of pain management and functional recovery. The consequent cost reductions are naturally of great significance.

The goal of the IBSA International Academy – Musculoskeletal (MSK) Modules is to create educational courses over a period of 12-14 months, divided into 5 modules, of an ever higher level, involving specialists from different fields in an interactive and integrated fashion with the aim to give theoretical and practical knowledge which can benefit and be useful for day-to-day specialist practice and offer improved diagnostic and therapeutic performance.

The participants can customize their own educational package, choosing from within the Academy offer, the courses most suited to their working lives.

The IBSA International Academy –  MSK Modules is, therefore, the educational provider which supplies travel arrangements, accommodation and didactic support to doctors, involved in the treatment of Musculoskeletal disorders, who wish to improve their diagnostic skills and therapeutic strategies.

The educational process is under the supervision of a qualified and proactive board which shares the educational (content and methodology) goals and ethical values defined by the Academy.
